Random: I PAINT WITH COFFEE!!!-sunshine plata
|
|
Anonymous writes "I am a 28-yr.old visual artist who has been using coffee as my medium. I discovered its classic “sepia-like” effect in paintings back in 2000.
Last year I have dedicated my time to coffee painting because I have always wanted to have a one-woman-show (by January of 2008) that will in some way draw the people’s attention due to its novelty. And with the help of Nescafe I was able to achieve this dream when they sponsored my affair. I wish to share my coffee paintings in uplifting the aesthetic awareness in people of all walks of life in a way that this reputable brand touches their lives.
I wrote to ask if your group may be interested to showcase my works also in any of your upcoming events. I will be greatly honored to take part in any of your endeavors.
My paintings are textured, whimsically surreal in nature, monochromatic and classy. If you wish to find out more about me and my works please visit these links:

or

I would also be more than willing to discuss with your good office at a time and place most convenient with you all the unique possibilities of this wondrous endeavor.
I may be reached through telephone numbers 646-1579 ,0927-8786753 or thru my email: bluberrybubblebath@yahoo.com.
Trusting your will give this matter your most kind attention and favorable response.
Thank you very much.
Respectfully Yours,
-sunshine plata

DRAWING ON SQUARE 方格畫
Drawings 繪畫
2nd Philippine Arts Festival - Hong Kong 2007
Saturday, 6 PM June 23, 2007 - Tuesday, July 03, 2007
The Economist Gallery
Drawings by eight Filipino creative professionals based in Hong Kong: Arnel Agawin, Jun Cambel, Justo Cascante III, Ben Guia, Martin Megino, Emilio Rivera III, Manuel Rubio and Bobit Segismundo. Drawing within, from, on or inside a square – these are the physical limitations on their efforts to express their artistic urge. Squaring off, in, up, down – these drawings are another way of seeing the psychological restraints they face as transplanted artists.
